ROYAL PRIESTHOOD

Welcome back to another Message Monday. This week we will be talking about being a Royal Priesthood. Over the past couple weeks we have covered - 5 attributes of our God Given identity, being Made in Gods image, being Sons & Daughters, and that we are Saints. If you haven’t read those I would encourage you to start and work through those as I will be building a little bit on to some past messages.


“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2:9‬ NKJV


Before accepting Christ as our lord and savior most of us lack understand that we are of Royal descent. We go through life with a performance and poverty mindset or a pauper mentality.


I put Royalty as the 4th attribute of our God given identity because it’s important that we learn these different attributes in a proper order. Without revelation of the 5 together and in the right order we are just going to end up teaching and training up a generation of self righteous orphans. That’s not Royalty. Our Heavenly Father has given us the keys to the kingdom and we no longer need to show up to the dinner table scrounging for bread crumbs because in our family there is always more then enough!


If we look at Solomon as a child from his young age he was raised up as royalty by royalty, having learned how to lead, be wise, and walk out in power and authority. Solomon ended up being the wisest man on the earth! The chances of most of us growing up in earthly royalty is not high but through Jesus we become royalty and with God’s helping Holy Spirit to teach us we are raised with a Kingdom mindset. The Kingdom we rule from is the Kingdom of heaven and our mission is to see our Kingdom invade this earths kingdom! Just as Solomon was raise and taught to share the kingdom with others so are we. We grow and learn from our Father the King of King’s and go on a mission to take and share all that he has done for us. Just as expressed above in 1 peter we are to “proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”.


You have been called and equipped and have the full backing of the Kingdom of heaven! You are a Royal Priesthood! This week I want to encourage you to take some time with Papa and ask him what does royalty look like? I feel hes going to be taking some of you on an amazing adventure as he invites you to the table to dine at a royal feast.

5 ATTRIBUTES TO WALKING IN OUR GOD GIVEN IDENTITY

A couple weeks ago I shared a couple messages about living in the moment and stewarding that moment. In one of the messages I mentioned how knowing our identity helps us know how to steward the season that we are in and every season to come. Over the next couple weeks we will be diving into our identity. With the main question being answered, Who has God made me to be? Who am I in God? Who is God?(yea that’s a big one but how we view God directly ties into who we are and how we act) I’m a firm believer when we know who God has made us to be we flourish beyond any expectation we could ever have for our life. SONS & DAUGHTERS

Over the past couple weeks we have been talking about  5 attributes to walking in our God given identity , last week we dove into us being  Made in God's Image  and this week we are going to talk a bit on being Sons and Daughters of God. “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
