ENJOYING THE SEASONS
I pray everyone had an amazing resurrection weekend with the lord and family. What an amazing time to just get together and talk over what our father has done for us by sacrificing his only son Jesus Christ to die as us and and raise from the dead resurrected to ascend into heaven as us and for us, thank you Jesus!
This week I just wanted to take and share a small that I have released through my revival group and school as I believe it is a word that all of us need to hear. This past Thursday in the morning when I was in my quiet time with the lord I was really praying over some things that have been on my heart and the lord showed me some amazing things.
The past couple weeks i've been so exited for what’s next to come after school and life in general. Although part of me wants school to go on forever part of me is like I’m totally ready for first year to be over.
In that quiet time with him he shown me how often we are always looking to the next season. When it’s cold and winter we want summer, when it’s hot and summer we want winter. We truly have a hard time just being sometimes and actually enjoy the moment we are in with him. The beginning of new seasons we’re so excited and ready, this is everything we’re waiting for but toward the middle and end we’re ready for what’s next. Then we move to the next season not leading from a strong finish but only from a strong start.
I feel like the lord was telling me and releasing to us that we need to enjoy whatever we are in till the final moment. We need to be fully in till the end. During writing this the lord even brought to my memory something we did as a prophetic act in our very first revival group meeting in school. Each one of the 65 of us got a poker chip and at the end of the class each one of us called "All In". All in is a poker terminology where you put in the last of you chips (money.) It lasts till the end of the hand, at the end if you have the best hand you get it all the chips from the other players that called you but you can lose if you don't have the best hand or if you fold. As believers we have been given the best hand!
So I really feel like the lord is saying to us enjoy the season we are in and delight in him no matter what is going on. In the good and the bad seek him, look to him and find out the amazing joy he has set before you. He's really leading us into a point where we can come to the ends of our seasons and finish stronger then we started and stepping into a new season with the roaring power of a strong finish!
I hope this has blessed you as much as it has blessed me and I pray ya'll have an amazing week.
*Just a small reminder there will most likely be no Message Monday next week par to the reason I will be on missions for the next week. Im agreeing with you all for an amazing couple weeks in the lord. Please keep me and my team in your prayers and we are going to Santa Cruz, California and will be following the lead of the spirit. We are seeking him for souls to be saved, amazing healing, miraculous signs & wonders, and amazing miracles in the mighty name of Jesus!*
