MADE IN GODS IMAGE

Image
Last weeks Message Monday  we listed 5 attributes that are key to understanding our Identity . Over the next couple weeks we will be going a little bit into each 5 as we seek to gain a deeper understanding of who we are in Christ. Made In Gods Image “So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭ 1:27 ‬ ‭NLT‬‬ From the beginning of creation you have been set of for success. We have all been made in Gods image and that inherits every individual having a personality and attributes that no one else has. So how can we understand these attribute more? I believe our identity and the way we view ourself directly tie into the ways that we view God. To truly know ourselves we need to go beyond ourself and reach up to heaven and ask our creator some questions. The root of our identity starts with relationship with him. R elationship As we begin to ask the lord some of the most direct questions...

5 ATTRIBUTES TO WALKING IN OUR GOD GIVEN IDENTITY

A couple weeks ago I shared a couple messages about living in the moment and stewarding that moment. In one of the messages I mentioned how knowing our identity helps us know how to steward the season that we are in and every season to come. Over the next couple weeks we will be diving into our identity. With the main question being answered, Who has God made me to be? Who am I in God? Who is God?(yea that’s a big one but how we view God directly ties into who we are and how we act) I’m a firm believer when we know who God has made us to be we flourish beyond any expectation we could ever have for our life. Sometimes it’s just not easy these days to know who we are. To often we let society, media, teachers, and friends tell us who we are. Often through our external influences we become the person we portray but do so without ever taking the time and asking God who we really are. It’s time as a group of believers we all ask the lord who he has made us to be. The mass of society...

ANGELS AND DREAMS

A couple Thursdays  ago a girl came up to me in a dream. We were at Walmart. She told me to ask around to see if anyone had a cancer. I forget which one came first (pancreatic or thyroid) I asked around and found the lady, we spoke and she told me she had both these cancers. We asked to pray for her and she said yes but not here. She walked us into the back area of Walmart where you load things. I walked around the room swinging my hands clearing the air removing anything in the spirit realm and purifying the room inviting the lord in. I was asked if everything way okay and I said yes. She sat down on what looked like a cahon. She started getting woozie. She leaned back a little and I stood behind her holding her up and started praying instantly commanding cancer to leave. The first girl who told me to ask around was in front of her praying as well. At some point information was exchanged that the lady with cancer was a current convict. She was concerend about being caught and that...

PREPARING FOR DESTINY

Last week I wrote a message about living in the moment and how in a culture that is moving so fast how we often look forward to what is next rather than living in the moment that we are currently in.  View last weeks Message Monday here-  https://elijahleavens.blogspot.com/2018/02/living-in-moment.html This week I want to take some time and look at what can we do in our current moment to help steward our time for what God has called us for. Currently as most of you know I am attending school at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. First year at Bssm is one that is heavily focused on identity. Questions like, Who am I?, Who is God?, Who am I in Christ? The answers to these questions carry the upmost importance for us to be truly effective for the kingdom of heaven! Although this weeks topic is not about identity is does carry a lot of validity for stewarding our current moment. As we learn who we are in Christ he begins to show us what our “mission” is and where we are ca...

LIVING IN THE MOMENT

In a culture today full of business meetings and chaotic schedules life has became busy! Often we find ourself doing whatever we have to do to do what is next. Rarely is it seen now that what we are doing now is the most important thing but rather what is next. I feel God is calling to a generation of people to step back into the moment! “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worr y about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33-34‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Just this past summer this passage held dearly to my heart. In all things I did I would continue to come back in reference to Matthew 6:33-34. It has became so easy for us as a generation to focus and dwell on things that are unknown and strive to achieve what needs to be accomplished. Although there is a need to be diligent with our time and make sure we are being effective, most of us have seemed to lo...
